Strong Connections Program Terms
These terms govern participation in the Strong Connections referral program. For the plain-English version, see the Strong Connections program page.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Strong Connections referral program (the “Program”), offered at the sole discretion of the Company to its clients. By referring a new client and/or accepting a referral credit issued under the Program, the referring client (“Participant”) agrees to be bound by these Terms.
Program Overview
1.1 Under the Program, a Participant who refers a new client to the Company may become eligible to receive an account credit in the amount of $250.00 (a “Referral Credit”), issued to the Participant’s account and redeemable toward future invoices in accordance with these Terms.
1.2 Eligibility for a Referral Credit, and its ultimate issuance, are subject in all respects to the conditions set forth in these Terms and to the Company’s sole discretion.
1.3 Program Start Date; No Retroactive Credits. The Program applies only to referrals made on or after the Effective Date set forth above. A referral is considered “made” as of the date the referred party is first identified to the Company as a referral in connection with a new project or maintenance plan engagement. Referrals made, or clients engaged, prior to the Effective Date, including existing clients who began working with the Company before the Effective Date, are not eligible for a Referral Credit under the Program, regardless of when the corresponding invoice is paid or maintenance milestone is reached.
Issuance of Referral Credits
A Referral Credit is issued upon satisfaction of one of the following milestones:
- Project Referrals: the referred client’s final project invoice has been paid in full; or
- Maintenance Plan Referrals: the referred client has completed three (3) consecutive months of active maintenance plan billing.
2.1 Timing. Referral Credits are issued manually by the Company. The Company’s target turnaround is five (5) business days following the applicable triggering event described above; however, this timeframe is a target only and is not a guaranteed or binding deadline. The twelve (12) month expiration period described in Section 3 begins on the date the Referral Credit is issued to the Participant’s account, which may differ from the date of the triggering event. The Participant will receive notification once a Referral Credit has been issued.
2.2 Non-Qualifying Referrals. If the referred client’s project is not completed, or if the referred client’s maintenance plan is cancelled or lapses prior to reaching three (3) consecutive months of active billing, no Referral Credit will be issued. No retroactive, partial, or prorated credit will be issued in respect of a non-qualifying or incomplete referral.
Expiration
3.1 Each Referral Credit expires twelve (12) months from its date of issuance (the “Expiration Date”). Any Referral Credit not redeemed on or before its Expiration Date is automatically forfeited and cannot be reinstated, extended, exchanged for cash, or otherwise recovered, regardless of the reason for non-use.
3.2 The foregoing applies without regard to the status of the Participant’s account at the time the Referral Credit was issued (see Section 5).
Redemption
Referral Credits are subject to the following redemption conditions:
- Each Referral Credit must be applied in full, in a single transaction, to one (1) invoice; a Referral Credit may not be split or partially applied across multiple invoices or projects.
- Referral Credits have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash, transferred to another account, sold, or combined with any other discount, promotion, or offer unless expressly authorized by the Company in writing.
- Project Engagements: no more than two (2) Referral Credits may be applied in the aggregate to a single project, regardless of the number of invoices issued in connection with that project.
- Maintenance Plans: Referral Credits may be applied at a maximum rate of one (1) Referral Credit per billing cycle.
Account Status
5.1 If a Participant’s account is inactive or closed at the time a Referral Credit would otherwise be issued, the Referral Credit will nonetheless be issued to the Participant’s account and will remain valid for twelve (12) months from its date of issuance, subject to the Participant reactivating or maintaining an account with the Company sufficient to permit redemption.
Program Modifications; Suspension; Termination
6.1 The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion and at any time, to modify, amend, suspend, or terminate the Program, in whole or in part, including without limitation the Referral Credit amount, eligibility criteria, issuance triggers, expiration period, and redemption conditions set forth in these Terms, with or without prior notice.
6.2 The Company reserves the right to modify or discontinue these Terms at any time. Material changes, where practicable, will be communicated to Participants; continued participation in the Program following any such change constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
6.3 In the event of suspension or termination of the Program, Referral Credits already issued and not yet expired will remain valid for redemption through their original Expiration Date, unless the Company determines, in its sole discretion, that earlier expiration or forfeiture is necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms, in which case the Company will provide notice to affected Participants where reasonably practicable.
6.4 No new Referral Credits will be issued following the effective date of Program termination, regardless of the status of any pending or in-progress referral.
6.5 The Company reserves the right to withhold, revoke, or decline to issue a Referral Credit, and to disqualify a Participant from further participation in the Program, in the event of suspected fraud, abuse, manipulation of referral or billing arrangements, or violation of these Terms.
General Provisions
7.1 Not Transferable. Referral Credits are issued to the Participant’s account only and may not be assigned, transferred, or sold to any third party absent the Company’s prior written consent.
7.2 No Guarantee. Participation in the Program does not guarantee issuance of a Referral Credit. Eligibility is contingent on satisfaction of the conditions in Section 2 and compliance with these Terms.
7.3 Entire Agreement. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Company and the Participant with respect to the Program and supersede any prior or contemporaneous understanding, whether written or oral, concerning the subject matter herein.
7.4 Questions. Questions regarding these Terms or the status of a Referral Credit may be directed to office@stronglandscaping.com.
